Michael Reilly joins MUFG’s Sales & Trading business

New York, September 25, 2023 – Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) announced today that Michael Reilly has joined the firm as Managing Director and Head of the Office for the International Business Head (IBH) of Sales and Trading. 

Based in New York, Reilly reports to Michael Yarian, the International Business Head of Sales and Trading and Regional Head of Sales and Trading for the Americas.

“Mike is a change agent, with deep experience in the markets business and in designing and implementing complex front office programs across balance sheets and entities,” Yarian said.  “He will be a key partner for the whole business as we embark upon the important work of globalizing our business and implementing our strategic growth initiatives.”

Reilly comes to MUFG from Bank of New York Mellon where he held the role of Global COO for Fixed Income, Equities, and DCM. Prior to that, Mike spent three years at HSBC Securities as the Regional COO for Emerging Markets Fixed Income. Mike’s more than 20 years in the financial services industry also include stints at Deutsche Bank, Incapture Investments LLC, Accenture, and Lehman Brothers.
