James Fisher

CEO and President of MUFG Fund Services

As President, CEO and a member of the Board of Managers of MUFG Fund Services (USA) and its subsidiaries, James is responsible for setting and executing business strategy in the U.S., building long-term, forward-thinking relationships with our clients and developing innovative, tailored solutions to meet their needs.

As a member of the MUFG Americas Executive Leadership team, James is committed to ensuring the safety and soundness of all MUFG U.S. operations while promoting our core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, Collaboration, Inclusion, and Stewardship.

MUFG is one of the world’s leading financial groups with a global network offering services including commercial banking, trust banking, securities, consumer finance, asset management and sophisticated professional services.

James has worked for MUFG as a Managing Director since 2016, previously responsible for the management of reputation risk across MUFG Americas as well as Chief Risk Officer for MUFG Investor Services.

Prior to MUFG, James worked in both Switzerland and the U.S. at UBS Asset and Wealth Management for 15 years in business and risk management roles. Prior to that he worked in London in several management consulting positions.

James holds a master’s degree in international relations and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kent University, UK

James lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
