Jonathan Lindenberg

Head of Corporate & Investment Banking Americas; Deputy President of MUFG Americas 

Jonathan Lindenberg is Head of Corporate & Investment Banking for the Americas and Deputy President of MUFG Americas. 

Mr. Lindenberg joined MUFG in January 2009 and went on to build the market-leading Project Finance franchise in the Americas. In 2012, he was named Head of Structured Finance and was later elevated to Deputy Head and eventually to Head of Investment Banking. He was named Head of Corporate & Investment Banking in 2021, and Deputy President of MUFG Americas in 2026.

Prior to joining MUFG, Mr. Lindenberg spent 18 years at Citigroup where he was Global Head of Infrastructure and Energy Finance. In this role, Mr. Lindenberg managed the bank’s global project finance practice.

Mr. Lindenberg holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with high distinction from Indiana University and an MBA with highest honors from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where he is a frequent guest lecturer in energy project finance.
