Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Hoerle
Chief Human Resources Officer for the Americas
Beth Hoerle, who has more than 30 years of HR leadership experience, is Chief Human Resources Officer for MUFG Americas. She’s responsible for HR strategy and operations in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America for one of the world’s 10 largest financial groups. In April 2025, she was also appointed interim Head of Global HR Business Advisory. She is a member of the Executive Committee for the Americas.
Beth oversees all HR Centers of Excellence, including Performance and Rewards; Talent Acquisition; Talent Development & Learning; Employee Relations; Shared Services; Business Management; C.O.R.E. (Community, Opportunity, Representation, and Effectiveness), and Corporate Communications.
Since joining MUFG in 2006, Beth has served in a range of roles, from HR Business Partner for the Corporate and Investment Banking group to leading the HR function through the sale of MUFG Union Bank to U.S. Bancorp in 2022.
Prior to joining MUFG, she spent 16 years with J.P. Morgan Chase in HR leadership roles. Beth holds an MBA from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University.
She is a member of the New York City Regional Advisory Board for iMentor, a national mentoring program that builds long-term trusting relationships to help first-generation students from historically and systemically under-resourced communities navigate a path to college and beyond.
